Northern TV presenter to host “The Salma Show”

The upcoming show feature celebrity interviews and round-table panel discussions.

Salma Phillips will be launching her own TV show called “The Salma Show” next month.

The upcoming show hosted by Phillips is a weekly programme about trending topics and current affairs. It will also feature celebrity interviews and round-table panel discussions. Each episode of the show will last 30 minutes.

“Being a talk show host, is a dream come true for me. I’ve always wanted to have a platform where I can air my views on topics that I'm passionate about”, the Fulani TV presenter said in a statement.

“This journey started 3 years ago when I shot my pilot episode, amid a lot of setbacks and discouragement, I was determined to give whatever it takes to succeed. It feels great to finally see it coming together”.

Salma Phillips is a writer, talk show host, presenter and TV producer. She studied TV production at BBC Academy.

“The Salma Show” premieres on Sunday, February 7 on Africa Magic Urban (DSTV Channel 153) at 6.30PM Nigerian Time.
