"Bad Moms", a comedy starring Mila Kunis and Kristen Bell, comes in number three at $23.4m (£17.7m) followed by "The Secret Life of Pets" which dropped to number four taking $18.2m (£13.8m).
Movie tops US box office
It was closely followed by "Star Trek Beyond", last weeks number one, taking a $24m (£18.1m) over the weekend.

The fifth film in the Bourne film series, "Jason Bourne" is the sequel to the 2012 film "The Bourne Legacy," and stars Matt Damon, Julia Stiles, Alicia Vikander, Vincent Cassel andTommy Lee Jones.
"Jason Bourne" made its debut on Friday, July 29, 2016.
