Movie cuts off novel's infamous tampon sex scene

The most talked about sex scene from E.L James''Fifty Shades Of Grey' will not be included in the movie.

Every Fifty Shades of Grey fan is familiar with the tampon scene where Christian pulls a tampon out of Anastasia before having sex with her.

According to the movie director, Sam Taylor-Johnson, the scene did not make it to the movie, it was never even discussed.

"On the early draft, there was a sense that there was way too much sex," she said to Variety.

"The story, of course, is of equal importance. We tried to balance the narrative correctly, so one doesn't feel like it's drowning the other. It's the buildup that's interesting.

I feel that in movies, the minute there's penetration, it's all over." - She said.

'Fifty Shades of Grey' will however contain some of the novel's famous sex scenes, including the couple's first night in the Red Room of Pain.

'Fifty Shades of Grey' premieres February 13, 2015.
