Nigerian rap sensation and actor,
The rapper shared his reservation concerning the proposed bill while speaking at the 4th edition of the Nigerian Entertainment Conference held on April 20, 2016, at Landmark Event Centre, Oniru, Lagos.
He said, “How can you say if someone wants to post motion picture on YouTube, they have to join a council? The MOPICON Bill is ridiculous”.
The bill has been condemned due to the suggestion that it can lead to a restriction of creativity, as attempts to share artistic inventions might become rigorous.
Fellow comedian and actor, Bovi, agreed with this. He believes the bill will cripple the entertainment industry.
Falz, who is the son of Lagos human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, has now become a house-hold name.
He has been garnering a lot of interest from both music and movie lovers, as he is gifted in both art.
In March 2016, Falz won the award for the Best Actor in a Comedy for his role as Segun in Funke Akindele's TV series "Jenifa’s Diary".
