The actor who plays Lucious Lyon on the hit show, beat Anthony Anderson, Idris Elba, Jussie Smollett and Kevin Hart to win the award.
Winning the 'Best Actress' award was Taraji P. Henson, who is popular for her fierce Cookie Lyon character on show.
Taraji who recently won her undefined, beat Gabrielle Union, Kerry Washington, Tracee Ellis Ross and Viola Davis to win the BET 'best actress' award.

Taraji plays Cookie Lyon, the outspoken ex-wife and mother of Lucious Lyon's three sons, who served a 17-year stretch in prison for drug dealing.
