Emir of Kano sues Kabara for defamation
Kabara was charged with the offence before a Senior Magistrate Court in the state on Wednesday, May 10.

He has been accused of inciting disturbance, defamation of character and attempt to breach peace.
Kabara allegedly insulted the Emir on April 28 while speaking to his supporters at Goron Dutse quarters.
He however denied the charges and was granted bail in the sum of N1 million with two sureties in like sum.

Senior Magistrate, Hassan Ahmad adjourned the case till June 6, 2017 for continuation.
