Twin blasts in Jos, Plateau State have claimed at least 31 lives, according to reports.
The attack was reportedly carried out by two suicide bombers who hid the explosives in sacks and disguised as traders.
Pam Ayuba, a spokesperson for state Governor, Jonah Jang said:
“The bodies recovered so far are 31 but rescue workers are at the scene and the figures may change.”
Civil rights lawyer, Ahmed Garba and Mark Lipdo of the Stefanos Foundation charity also confirmed the figure to The Associated Press.
A similar incident occurred at the Jos Terminus Market in May when two car bombs exploded leaving at least 130 people dead.
