12-yr-old female suicide bomber kills many in crowded market

The explosion occurred at about 11am on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, and killed 10 people on the spot.

 

Many people are said to have died in Yobe State after a young female suicide bomber attacked a crowded market in the Gujba Local Government Area of the state.

The explosion occurred at about 11am on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, and killed 10 people on the spot, according to Daily Trust.

Another 30 people are said to have been left injured by the blast.

“The girl that detonated the bomb was a very small girl of about 12 years. We counted 10 dead and over 30 injured,” a driver, Malam Usaini Jibril said.

The attack and casualty figure are yet to be confirmed by security agents in the state.
