DSS grills Aluko over rigging allegation levelled against Ekiti Governor

The former PDP secretary alleged that the Governor received $37 million from former President, Goodluck Jonathan to rig the June 2014 elections in the state.

The former Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State, Dr. Temitope Aluko was reportedly grilled by the Department of State Services (DSS) over allegations he levelled against Governor Ayo Fayose.

You will recall that Aluko, alleged that Fayose used the Nigerian Army to rig the governorship elections in the state.

He also alleged that the undefined Goodluck Jonathan to rig the June 2014 elections in the state.

Punch reports that a DSS source said “He (Aluko) is also providing details on his allegation that special stickers were provided for the vehicles used.

“He is also telling us what he knew about the procurement of black materials for the hand band for the operators of the strike team and the members of the 44 special strike teams.”

“Definitely, the names of those listed there, especially those serving with us, would be invited for interrogation,” the source said.

Governor Fayose has since denied the allegations of rigging.
