Governor reportedly takes son to public hospital without security detail [PHOTO]

El-Rufai reportedly took his toddler to the Barau Dikko Hospital at about 5:30am and was not escorted by his security detail.

Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai is said to have taken his son to a public hospital in the state for treatment earlier today, June 15, 2015.

The report of the governor’s early morning trip and an accompanying photo were provided by Twitter user, Heenah Alee.

Since assuming office, the governor has taken some unusual steps, including slashing his salary, which have earned him praise from many Nigerians.
