Parents of the abducted Chibok girls, on Thursday, January 14, 2016, held a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.

The girls’ parents were pictured weeping during the meeting over their daughters who were kidnapped by Boko Haram in April 2014.

They had initially been received by Minister of Women Affairs, Aisha Alhassan but they insisted on seeing Buhari.

However, according to Bring Back Our Girls leader, Oby Ezekwesili, the president failed to connect with the weeping parents.
