The BBOG group had announced their intention to march to the Villato engage President Muhammadu Buhari towards securing the release of the abducted Chibok girls.

Convener of the BBOG group, Oby Ezekwesili stated that the group had written to the presidency.

She noted that it was uncivil to stop agitators from accessing their democratically elected president but leader of the group, DSP Chuks said he was ordered to prevent any group from accessing the president's residence.

Bukky Shonibare, a member of the group, dismissed the federal government's position that Boko Haram terrorists have been defeated as most areas still remain unaccessible to aid agencies.

She lamented the failure of government to rescue the girls over two years since they were abducted.

Recall that over 200 schoolgirls were abducted from the Government Secondary School, Chibok by the Boko Haram sect in 2014.
