According to an eyewitness, Mohammed Dansabe, the explosion was so massive that it was felt all over the city, claiming that dead bodies are uncountable.

According to an eyewitness, Mohammed Dansabe, who spoke to Premium Times, the explosion was so massive that it was felt all over the city - claiming that dead bodies are uncountable.
“I am currently at the scene and we are helping to evacuate injured to the Hospital, there are many dead bodies all over the place,” Dansabe said.
He added that the blast scene is close to the main vegetable market in the town and the explosion occurred as traders were closing for the day and rushing home.

The explosion is believed to have been caused by an improvised Explosive Device (IED)
