Shekau mocks Jonathan and Buhari in new video

Shekau said further that neither of the two men could rule Nigeria and he also accused Nigerian soldiers of being cowards.

The leader of Boko Haram has mocked President Goodluck Jonathan in a new video while adding that the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari is an infidel.

The leader of the terrorist sect spoke in the 36-minute video in which he also claimed responsibility for the attack on Baga, which reportedly left 2,000 people dead.

“Jonathan you are in trouble. All governors of Nigeria are in trouble. All these war equipment that you see being displayed in the screen are gotten from Baga and Doro. Your army kept deceiving the world that you can’t fight us because you have no arms. Liars! You have all that it takes; you are just coward soldiers,” Shekau said.

“You forgot that it is God that arms. Is it not amazing that we, who started with sticks and machetes, are today the biggest headache to the almighty Nigerian soldiers? What a shame!!” he added.

“Nigerians are busy with politics, hailing Buhari! Buhari, Jonathan! Jonathan! Do you think the two of them are spared? Do you think even Buhari is a good Muslim? Buhari is not a Muslim as far as we are concerned – He is nothing but an infidel and our enemy,” Shekau said.

Shekau mocked other African leaders including Niger’s Muhammed Yusuf and Cameroon’s Paul Biya. He also set the Nigerian flag on fire towards the end of the video.

The Boko Haram leader said in the video that his men had killed the people of Baga and that the massacre was only the tip of the iceberg.
