According to Murray-Bruce, the incident occurred during a dinner organized for legislators at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

“I was at the presidential villa today. Went to the President’s table. DSS would not allow me greet him but let another Senator greet him,” Murray-Bruce said via Facebook.
“I have nothing against the President, however, nobody is too important to be criticised and my mouth will never be silenced,” he added.
