A man has rejected his girlfriend’s proposal at a mall in Lagos because… he’s married to someone else!

Recall the viral gist of the woman who proposed at Ikeja City Mallbut was left in tears after her boyfriend said no to getting engaged to her and walked away.

Why he rejected the proposal

The boyfriend's reason for turning down his babe's proposal was previously unknown but that has now been revealed by a Facebook user who claims to be friends with the embarrassed girlfriend.

Apparently, the woman who proposed has been a sidechic all along!

The Facebook user and supposed friend of the bold girlfriend, Christy Glo, who claims to be the rejected woman's friend posted on timeline on Sunday and said:

“This lady is actually my friend, but not close friends and we just spoke on phone… She said the reason she cried bitterly after her boyfriend rejected her marriage proposal in public was that when he came close and whispered into her ears, he actually said he was already married.

My question is why are men this wicked and heartless? Tufiakwa.”

Is he truly married though?

In yet another twist, the post which alleges that the boyfriend is a married man has been deleted.

Logically, that could be in some respect to the distraught woman and to probably let the matter die down as quickly as possible.

Or it could also be some quick trick pulled some random Facebook user.

Pulse has reached out to Christy Glo, the friend who posted  the information on Facebook. No comment has been gotten at the moment of this story.
