Wrong Whatsapp message leads man to the love of his life

Within three months, the love birds tied the knot!

A British couple have tied the knot after one mistakenly messaged the other on WhatsApp.

A message of good fortune

When Michael Evangelou, 44, tried to send himself a reminder to go see the "Girls Trip" in September 2017, his message somehow landed in 37-year-old Lina Dahlbeck's Whatsapp, and that was how it all began for them.

Lina replied with a surprised “Hi! Girls trip? Who’s this please? I’m guessing this was intended for another Lina;” and as the conversation easily flowed between the pair about London and work and other stuff, it became obvious that there was some sort of connection.

So they agreed to meet despite the distance between them and eventually, they fell in love.

“If someone told me I would meet my future husband when he sent me a text out of the blue, I would never have believed them.

"People are astonished every time I tell them how we met. Some of my friends have even started sending WhatsApp messages to random numbers in the hope of finding romance." says Lina.

And according to  Michael, a car sales man: “It’s certainly a crazy way to meet someone. Everything snowballed but in a good way. She’s the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with.”

All's well that ends well

The pair tied the knot in December 2017, only three months after that first text was sent, showing that while their meeting may have been fortuitous, their love surely isn't.
