A powerful wedding photo went viral after it shows a man dressed in a U.S marine uniform and his bride-to-be praying at their wedding with their backs turned to each other.
Initially, people misconstrued the picture as the woman being a victim of forced marriage but it later turned out that they were praying.
Dwayne Schmidt Photography shared the image on Facebook late Saturday, saying it showed the couple just before the ceremony.
The groom, U.S. Marine Corps Corporal Caleb Earwood, wanted to pray with his bride Maggie.

Since the groom isn’t supposed to see the bride before the wedding, the two families brought them together with their eyes closed. They joined hands and prayed.
And the photographer captured a memory that will last a lifetime.
