Nicki Minaj addresses misconceptions about her, covers Billboard Magazine

Nicki Minaj has spoken up about working hard at her dreams and constantly having to prove she's not just a sexy body without brains.

The curvy rapper covered the latest issue of Billboard magazine in a blinding bling dress while dishing on her career and her dreams.

She opened up about constantly trying to be the best while remaining relevant in her chosen career, “You should always be competing, always be trying to show that you’re the best,”

"I'm on 15 to 25 conference calls every few days strategizing with my team. I think a lot of artists sit back and have it done for them," Minaj says. "Sometimes as women in the industry -- if you're sexy or like doing sexy things -- some people subconsciously negate your brain. They think you're stupid."

For the first time, the rapper opened up about growing up, fantasizing about a future where she hoped to have a perfume line amongst other things- now she has 3 and many more! She takes on fierce and sultry for the editorial shoot. Check on them.
