Lagos State Government promises support for participants

The Lagos State Government have promised intending pilgrims that they will do all they can to help them during their stay in Jerusalem.

As Christians prepare for their pilgrimage in Jerusalem, the Lagos State Government has assured participants from the state that the government is putting everything in place to ensure a stress free journey for them.

The airlifting of the first batch commences on Thursday, November 27, and the Lagos State Commissioner for Home Affairs and Culture, Oyinlomo Danmole has assured the intending pilgrims of good welfare package from the state.

Speaking during the dedication service for the intending pilgrims, Oyinlomo Danmole, assured that arrangements had been concluded to make the journey a hitch-free one, adding that provisions had been made for the accommodation and overall welfare of the intending pilgrims. Oyinlomo Danmole assured of the state Governor's readiness to offer necessary assistance and cooperation to the pilgrims during the exercise.

Oyinlolo Danmole also tasked the pilgrims to conduct themselves properly and be focused in their dealings in the holy land.

“I congratulate you all for the privilege of embarking on a journey that will make you witnesses of the historical records in the Bible. However, anybody with ulterior motives should have a change of heart,” the commissioner said.
