A former pastor has been arrested for killing two of his wives and will be sentenced for their murders after he was found guilty.
The pastor, Aurthur Schirmer of Lebanon county, is already serving a life sentence for the murder of his second wife, Betty Schirmer whom he married after the death of his first wife, Jewel Schirmer.
He is to be sentenced for the death of his first wife who died in 1999.
Police say both women killed in the same manner – bludgeoned to death, Schirmer tried to explain his wives deaths to the police as an accident.
He claimed Jewel fell down the stairs in their North Lebanon home and that Betty had died in a car accident.
Schirmer could receive a maximum of 40 years in prison added to the life sentence he is already serving.
