Should Chris Brown Go To Jail For Four Years?

Brown has been sentenced for an additional 131days in jail for violating probation in the Rihanna case

Chris Brown is an amazing singer and quite "Loyal" to his music and fans but should one mistake he did back in 2009 – beating up Rihanna- take all these things away from him for four years?

The singer has been sentenced to more 131 days in jail after admitting to violating his probation in the Rihanna case. However, he is still to stand trial for assault in a Washington case last October even though he insists he did not assault the victim.

His legal rep, Mark Geragos says when Brown admitted to a probation violation on Friday in the Rihanna case, it did NOT constitute a confession in his assault case. Geragos says all Brown did was admit he violated probation in D.C, " he was not more specific” and HE - not Chris - conceded there was a factual basis to conclude his client violated probation based on the police report. What's most important is that Geragos says there's no way the D.C. prosecutor could use Brown's admission as a confession, because the standard of proof in a criminal case is much higher than in a probation hearing.  According to TMZ reports, Geragos says he merely told the Rihanna judge it's "more likely than not" that Chris screwed up in D.C.  In a criminal trial, the prosecutor must show Chris screwed up beyond a reasonable doubt.

So with 131 more day behind bars, how much longer is Brown to go before he gets back his freedom?
