A 21-year-old man, Kunle Akinyemi, has been dispatched to the world beyond by his best friend who stabbed him to death over a minor disagreement.
The sad incident which happened in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State, was said to have occurred when the deceased and his friend who is now on the run, had a normal argument between friends but the disagreement soon turned bloody when the friend pulled out a dagger and stabbed Akinyemi in the chest.
It was learnt that Akinyemi gave up the ghost at the hospital he was rushed to because he had lost a lot of blood before medical help could get to him.
The police are currently probing the cause of the fight which led to the victim’s death. A police source disclosed that about on that fateful day, one Ajeleso Akinyemi came to the police station in company with one Femi Akinyemi to report that his son, Kunle Akinyemi, was stabbed on the chest.

The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Wole Ogodo, confirmed the incident, saying the police had launched a manhunt for the culprit.
