This Woman Stoned One Of Her Newborn Twins To Death

The other child was speedily rescued by the police to prevent her from being killed as well

An insane woman in Abia has killed her own child after she gave birth to a set of twin girls on a refuse heap.

The incident is said to have occurred along the Ikot Ekpene Road, near Aba, the state capital.

The woman reportedly gave birth to the children last weekend without any medical assistance or care.

However, when one of the babies started crying, the mentally challenged mother threw a stone at the child killing her.

Residents of the area then invited the police who plucked the second baby out of harm's way before her mother could hurt her too.

The child was taken to a hospital and she will eventually be handed over to the Welfare Department of the Aba South Local Government.
