Jos Rocked By Explosion

In what is becoming a pattern, the once sleepy town of Jos has been rocked by an explosion

The once sleepy town of Jos has been rocked by a bomb blast. According to The Nation, the explosion occurred at about 2.55pm, today Tuesday, May 20th in the heavily populated Ahmadu Bello area where the GSM market is located.

While the exact casualty number remains unknown, rescue operations are reported to be going on even as security agents have condoned off the area of the blast.

It would be recalled that a suicide attack occurred in Kano, yesterday Monday 19th May leaving no fewer than 4 people dead.

Meanwhile, Nigerian troops are reported to have been deployed to the Sambisa forest to search for the missing Chibok girls who were kidnapped over a month ago.
