A 27-year-old up-coming musician based in Lagos, Friday Freedom, will be entertaining fellow inmates in the Kirikiri Prison after an Ikeja Magistrate's Court made sure he is remanded for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl, the Punch reports.
Freedom who lives on Kilani Street, Papa Ashafa, Agege, allegedly raped the girl on Saturday, November 21, at his residence after he had invited her over on the pretence that he wanted her to run an errand for him.
Police prosecutor, Sergeant Jimah Iseghede, told the court presided over by Chief Magistrate Tajudeen Elias, had forcefully defiled the girl and she is currently receiving treatment in a hospital following injuries he inflicted on her.
“The girl is presently on admission at one of the general hospitals as a result of the injury she sustained,” Iseghedehe said.

When the one-count charge of rape was read to the accused, he pleaded not guilty and Elias ordered that he be remanded till November 28 when the case will be heard.
