Would you take back a spouse who abandoned you in difficult times?

A Pulse Nigeria fan wants other readers to advice him: should he take back a woman who dumped him when he was poor?

"Dear Pulse,

I have a very serious issue that is tearing me apart and and I would like your readers to advise me on the steps to take.

Few years ago, I was a struggling young man trying to eke out a living. In fact, I was living from hand to mouth and almost everybody abandoned me.

The last person I never expected to give up on me was a woman I loved so much and planned to get married to.

When Kate could no longer cope with my poverty, she left me for a rich man. Before she left me, she told me to my face that I would never amount to anything in life and that I would die a poor man.

I was so hurt by her action and cried bitterly. I begged her, sent her friends to talk to her but she was adamant.

But just about four years later, God blessed me through a man I never expected. The man, a clearing agent, got me a contract and like they say, the rest is history.

Today, I am rich, by the grace of God. I own a chain of businesses, a fleet of cars and about eight houses spread all over Lagos and my hometown.

But the problem is that Kate wants to come back to me. She has been begging me, telling me she loves me and was misled to abandon me when I was poor.

I am confused here as I do not know what to do. ?

Chibuzor."
