It is general knowledge that most of the suicides bombings in Nigeria are reportedly carried out by young girls wearing the Islamic veil called Hijab.

Even some Boko Haram men have been arrested in the past disguising themselves as woman so that they could easily hide the explosives tied around their bodies.

This menace has led to many calling for the banning of the Hijab veils in Nigeria, at least till the country can get out of the woods of insurgency.

But many religious bodies, especially from the Islamic faith, believe outlawing the veils would be tantamount to denying them their freedom while some see it as an affront on their religion.

But other countries who are also facing the scourge of insurgency, like Niger Republic and Chad, have made moves to ban the Hijab.

On Morning Teaser today, we ask: do you support the call that the Hijab should be banned in the country as a step towards the fight against Boko Haram?
