Kidnapped 2-year-old girl rescued at Murtala Mohammed Airport

The parents of little Mercy Osunbawo heaved a sigh of relief when their daughter was found unharmed

A young child who was kidnapped from her parents' home in the Ejigbo area of Lagos last Friday has been found.

2-year-old Mercy Osunbawo was found wandering around the local wing of the Murtala Mohammed Airport in Ikeja.

The child was abducted while she slept at the family's Adeite Osunbawo Street residence after a night vigil.

The family woke up to find that their mobile phones and money had gone missing and that Mercy was nowhere to be found.The little girl has been reunited with her family after she was rescued by the airport police.
