An 18-year-old boy who stole a laptop in Lagos was almost beaten to death by an angry mob.

The lynched laptop thief

The young man, according to witnesses, had sneaked into a shop in the area, stole the laptop and was almost getting away with it when the owner of the shop saw him and raised an alarm which alerted people in the area.

The young thief was allegedly given a chase and after he had managed to jump about three fences, his pursuers finally caught up with him and descended on him mercilessly.
