Last week, the news of a so called man of God, Pastor Ernest Okonkwo, the General Overseer of Holy Family Ministry, a.k.a House of Mercy, a church located in the Ogolonto, Ikorodu area of Lagos State, made the headlines when it turned out that instead of preaching the word of God and leading people to Christ, he was actually running a kidnapping and ritual murder ring under the guise of operating a church, made headlines.

This end time pastor, Ernest Okonwko who was fingered in the alleged running of a kidnap and ritual killing ring has been bared open for all to see.
The fake pastor was exposed when a woman he mandated to kidnap a young boy, one Mrs. Rosemary Chukwu, was arrested with a 9-year-old son of neighbour she had kidnapped.
When questioned, Mrs. Chukwu said it was the pastor that gave her the contract to bring the boy.
Though pastor Ernest Nwankwo has been on the run, there have been lots of revelations about him and who he really is.

According to what we can glean, this is who the fake pastor really is:
Ernest Chukwuemeka Nwankwo is an indigene of Nsugbe in Anambra East Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria. He was born at Onitsha on 3rd of November, 1964, into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Nwankwo Egbunike.
He is the General Overseer of Holy Family Ministry also known as House of Mercy, (formerly known as Jesus Divine Healing and Deliverance Catholic Ministry), Lagos, Nigeria. He commenced his scamming work in July, 1997, to be precise according to the instruction of Satan.
He manages two kidnap centres called Happy Family Home Foundation International, at both Ikorodu Lagos State and Nkwelle-Ezunaka, Oyi LGA, Anambra State, Nigeria.
Ernest C. Nwankwo is married to Mr Odelia Anulika Nwankwo.

He is said to have been operating the fake church for over 5 years now and no one has been the wiser as to what has been going on in the confines of the church, not knowing that he has been involved in the business for a long time.
According to residents of the area, the church does not hold services on Sundays, only on Tuesday and Thursday nights.
On such nights, the whole area is taken up by worshippers, with some even sleeping by the road side, holding up his photos, calling on the God of 'Pastor Ernest' to answer all their requests.
They said the pastor lay claims to treating mad men but some of those rescued from his den were sane people who have been in captivity for years.
In fact, one of the men rescued narrated his ordeal thus:

I am not a mad man. Please help me! I was taken from around Redeemed Church Camp on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Pastor Ernest kept me here. There were many of us but they usually come to take them away.
The man also revealed to the people that he was from Anambra State and had been locked up in the church since 2012.
