Mad Man Stabs 2 Police Officers For Disturbing Mentally Ill Woman In Lagos

The insane man reportedly rose to the woman's defence after the officers tried to chase her away from a church

A mentally disturbed man in the Alakija area of Lagos was taken into custody after he stabbed two police officers.

The incident occurred when the victims allegedly attempted to send an insane woman off the premises of a church. This did not go down well with the man who rose to the woman's defence and tried to stop the police.

Unfortunately for him, the officers turned their attention to him and assaulted him with their batons. This led the man to use a stick on the police and when that did not work, he allegedly stabbed two of them with a broken bottlle.

According to reports, he was subsequently overpowered by the police who then took him away for questioning.
