1. Palm wine

Palm-wine is simply gotten from palm trees. The sap of the palm tree is drained and either left to ferment or consumed immediately after tapping. For those who love a little bit of alcohol content, they'd rather leave it to ferment because when it does, its alcohol level rises to as much as 12%.

This drink is largely consumed by the eastern and south-western parts of Nigeria due to the availability of enough palm trees in these regions.

2. Zobo

Zobo is made from dried Roselle plant flowers, called the zobo leaves. The drink, burgundy wine colour, can be taken either sweetened or unsweetened and doesn't require any preservative. You can totally switch things up by adding pineapple or any other fruit of your choice just to add a little flavour to it. It's best taken when served chilled, it leaves you refreshed.
