Singer lands massive cosmetic deal with luxury brand, LVMH
Rihanna is not here for games! WWD just revealed that the popstar just signed a deal to create a brand of cosmetics for luxury product company LVMH. We can’t wait to see it!
Although details are yet to be unveiled, the company announced the brand’s name will be Fenty Beauty by Rihanna. The CEO of Kendo, David Suliteanu, in a state of sheer excitement said, 'Fenty Beauty by Rihanna' is a beauty rocket ship that will appeal to a huge and diverse global audience, we are aiming for the stars. Kendo is honored to work with Rihanna.”
The line is set to be released in 2017. Definitely, the Rihanna collaboration is not LVMH's first celebrity partnership, having developed lines for famous tattoo artist Kat Von D and fashion powerhouse Marc Jacobs.
Although this deal looks quite comprehensive and grand, Rihanna actually possesses some expertise in developing beauty products. In 2013, she collaborated with MAC Cosmetics on a four series, limited-edition RiRi Hearts line of make-ups that were very lucrative.
In addition, the pop princess has dabbled into fragrances, creating seven in collaboration with Parlux Ltd. The 'Diamonds' singer has also been busy pushing her newest styles from Puma, where she serves as the Creative Director.
