The designer brand has released the Marc by Marc Jacobs, Fall 2014 featuring the models chosen off the Instagram competition as against the normal casting through individual agencies.
The campaign was shot by David Sims photographed while Katie Grand of LOVE Magazine worked as stylist with 'models' in colourful hairdos from pink to blue while wearing graphic designs of the season.
Artistic director of the brand revealed to WWD that “It seemed like a great idea to me, as casting through seemed cool, current and strong, We wanted the ads to shout with youth and energy…to be fresh and reclaim the spirit that the collection had when we first conceived of it — to be another collection, not a second line.”
