The award ceremony, which was hosted by IK Osakioduwa and Minenhle ‘Minnie’ Dlamini, saw actors such as Genevieve Nnaji, Rita Dominic, Stephanie Linus, Funke Akindele, Ini Edo, Adesua Etomi, Daniel K Daniel, Majid Michel, Falz, Mike Ezuruonye, Beverly Naya and Uti Nwachukwu among others.

The fourth edition of the Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards (AMVCA) took place on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at Eko Hotel, Lagos, Nigeria. The stars came out in their most stunning looks yet.
Some of the best looks of the night came from red carpet staples such as Eku Edewor, Kemi Adetiba, Genevieve Nnaji, Rita Dominic, RMD, Ozzy Agu, Osas Ajibade, Tonye Garrick, Annie Idibia, Adesua Etomi, Mo’ Cheddah, Ramsey Nouah and many more.
Top winners include Daniel K Daniel who won the "Best Actor" award, Adesua Etomi who won "Best Actress," Stephanie Linus' "Dry" which won "Best Overall movie," and Akin Omotosho, who won "Best Director."
Other winners include Genevieve Nnaji, Sambassa Nzeribe, Kemi Lala Akindoju who won the Trailblazer award. Nollywood veteran Bukky Ajayi and Sadiq Daba received the special industry merit award.
