Parminder Vir, CEO of The Tony Elumelu Foundation, says that the foundation has received over 25,000 applications from 52 African countries since the TEEP2016 Application portal opened to all on the 1st of January.
Over 25,000 applications from 52 countries already received for entrepreneurship programme
Before the application portal closes on the 1st of March 2016 , Parminder and the Tony Elumelu Foundation is calling on female entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs from all over Africa to apply.
She added that the foundation has also received applications outside the continent; 31 non-African countries including Afghanistan.
Even as 31% of the applications received so far are from female entrepreneurs, Parminder expects more and encourages more women to apply.
Parminder further stated that the foundation took a significant step to manage all activities in house and to also bring on board a new application platform for the entrepreneurs called, IDEMS. This has been a seamless platform thus far with forums where entrepreneurs can engage each other.
Don't miss this opportunity to become the next big thing in Africa.
