Mildred Okwo is taking viewers back to the 90s with 1st TV series

In 1996, Joke Silva and Ego Boyo graced the screen as Myra and Peggy in Amaka Igwe's "Violated." 1t's 2016 and Mildred Okwo is bringing them back.

If you remember the days of "Keeping Faith"

The TV series which features a talented and exciting cast is taking TV lovers back to the 90s - to the days of Amaka Igwe's "Violated," which starred Ego Boyo and Joke Silva as Myra and Peggy respectively.

The duo were also part of the classic romance movie "Keeping Faith,"which was produced by Ego Boyo and starred Joke Silva in a major role.

Okwo shared a photo of the two veterans on set of her TV series with the caption, "Nice to see you again! Been keeping faith.... ."

"Bankers NGR" is the first project co-starring the two veterans since their classic works in the 90s.

Created by Tunde Babalola ("The Meeting," "October 1," "Last Flight to Abuja," "The CEO") the TV series follows the lives of bankers at a fictional bank called Sun Country Bank."

The series also stars Okey Uzoeshi ("Two Brides and a Baby," "Something Wicked," "Stellar"), Ashionye Michelle Raccah ("Hell or High Water," "Journey to Self"), Daniel Effiong ("Gidi Up," "Goddammit It's Monday"), Roseline Afije ("Hex"), Seun Kentebe ("Paranoia," "Jimi Bendel"), Rita Edward ("Aina," "Nkiru), Ayobami Ayoola ("Skinny Girl in Transit),Bikiya Graham-Douglas ("Jenifa's Diary," "Lunchtime Heroes) Rita Dominic ("The Meeting," "76"), Zainab Balogun ("Soldier's Story," "The Wedding Party"), Segun Arinze ("Vuga," "A Place in the Stars")  and Charles Etubiebi ("93 Days").

Mildred Okwo announced "The Bank" in March 2016 via Facebook following the success of her movie "Suru Lére," which starred Seun Ajayi, Rita Dominic, Greg OJ, Beverly Naya, Enyinna Nwigwe among others.

The Audrey Silva Company is popular for the multiple award-winning movie "The Meeting,"which birthed the character MR M.

In 2016, TASC premiered the romantic drama "Suru L'ere," which also introduced memorable characters like Arinze and Brume.

An Audrey Silva's feature filmtitled "undefined" is also in the works. It will star Joke Silva, Uzor Osimkpa, Rita Dominic, Blossom Chukwujekwu and Ken Erics.

The Audrey Silva Company (TASC) is a leading entertainment company based in Lagos, Nigeria.  The company was founded by leading Producer/Director Mildred Okwo and award winning star actress Rita Dominic in 2010.

Directed by Mildred Okwo, a release date is yet to be announced for the TV series.
