Remember actress' marital scandal in 2013?

In 2013, Mercy Aigbe's marriage had its first scandal that would resurface four years later.

Lets go back to when the Mercy Aigbe messy marriage scandal started making waves.

It all started on Sunday, April 7, 2013, in Lagos when the blogger, Stella Dimoko Korkus broke the news of how Mercy Aigbe was disgraced at an event.

The media mogul, Sola Fajobi, organizer of "Super Mum" and "Next Movie Stars", had just floated two television stations; V Channel and Oodua TV and so he hosted Mercy Aigbe. The show was a recorded T.V show for Oodua Amounmaworan TV.

The event had in attendance, Lanre Gentry, husband of Mercy Aigbe and other celebrities. However, the event took another turn when just some few minutes to the end of the show, Mercy just vanished and everybody started looking for her including her hubby.

After hours of looking for her, her husband in what seemed to be like a scene from a movie, the hubby forced the MC to announce that he was looking for his wife and when that didn't work, he stood up a with a fierce look and began causing a scene.

When it was obvious he meant business, they took him to a room where his darling wife who arrived the venue in a short black dress with her back bare had changed to a night gown.

A visible angry Lanre, dragged her out in the night gown and threw her into his SUV and drove angrily out of the venue whilst shocked onlookers looked on.

Yes, just in case you weren't aware of this story, trust it was one messy day for Mercy Aigbe.

Fast forward to last weekend, Mercy Aigbe was spotted at an event in Ilesha, Osun state putting on her wedding rings.

According to Allure Vanguard Magazine, there are reconciliatory talks in the pipeline for the couple even though sources close to Mercy Aigbe say she won't be going back without new terms and conditions.

Pulse reached out to Mercy Aigbe's publicist to confirm the report. Her publicist is yet to release a statement to Pulse on the issue.
