Last year, some students of a school in Mubi, Adamawa State were slaughtered callously. This year, over 40 innocent school children of a unity school in Yobe were killed, some slaughtered like fowls while some female students were abducted.
Would You Advocate For The Closure Of Schools In Boko Haram States?
The spate of attacks on innocent Nigerian students in various schools across the three North East States of Adamawa, Borno and Yobe, by members of the Islamic insurgents, Boko Haram, is becoming worrisome.
Till now, no one knows what has become of the girls who are abducted by the sect and kept as sex slaves, with some forced into marriages with the Boko Haram members.
Just yesterday, there was a report of an attack on a government girls secondary school in Borno State where over 200 girls were also abducted while preparing for their SSCE.
On Morning Teaser today, we ask: Do you advocate for a temporary closure of schools in these affected states till a solution is found for the terrorism going on?
We are of the belief that this measure will save some innocent children from being wasted.
