Would The Ceasefire Between The FG and Boko Haram Will Stand?

Last week, the <a href="http://pulse.ng/community/morning-teaser-what-is-your-wish-for-nigeria-as-she-clocks-54-id3163381.html" id="ac7a661f-6f28-5e3d-a3d5-8e26bdf32c3b">Federal Government of Nigeria,</a> under the leadership of President Goodluck Jonathan, decided to throw the olive branch the way of the violent Boko Haram sect and call for a ceasefire, something the sect agreed to.

While many Nigerians applauded the government over this move, with the hope that it would bring about an end to their wanton destruction and help in the release of those who have been in their captivity including the over 200 female students of the Government Secondary School, Chibok, others felt the ceasefire would not last.

True to type, the sect carried out a series of attacks over the weekend in some northern towns, killing many in the process. That dastardly act has shown again that there may be more to Boko Haram than meets the eye.
