But even before we could form an impression of him, he dropped out of the music radar only to surface in a totally different area - health and fitness.
So what led to the hiatus from the music industry and do we expect to see him back here? These were some of the questions we posed to the Uzi Burn Out boss during a recent interview and he admitted that he had indeed taken a break from music in order to face his fitness business:
"I slowed down on music because I wanted to be sure of what I was doing with Uzi Burn Out. I still do music, though I know there are people that don't know me as a hip hop artiste who may wonder who this fitness guy is that's trying to get into music - no, I've always done music. It was the first thing I did when I came back to Nigeria and now that I've achieved my goal with Uzi Burn Out, I'm ready to face music headlong again"
Uzi who also happens to be hip-hop artiste, Ikechukwu's brother released'Oh Yeah' earlier in the year and revealed that he would be shooting a video for the track soon.
