Singer debuts on Forbes Power Women List 2015

Taylor Swift came in at the 64th place and is the youngest person on the powerful list.

Taylor Swift is one of the most powerful women in the world after making her debut into the Forbes Power Women List 2015.

The singer and songwriter becomes the youngest person to feature on the list.

The 'Bad Blood' hit-maker, whose fans refer to themselves as Swifties has a massive cult following among millions, is ranked 64 on the list.

In 2014, Swift was named Billboard Woman of the Year and Time Magazine's Most Influential Person. The singer also led Maxim's Hottest List in 2015.

Meanwhile the German chancellor, Angela Merkel leads the list for the fifth consecutive year while US Presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton comes in second, up from sixth in 2014.

The 100 women are chosen by the magazine’s editors, and women from across the political, economic and media industries feature in the list.
