Freeze seemingly changes his ways

The controversial OAP Freeze has shocked many by waving a white flag but how long will his good boy behaviour last?

The angels in Heaven are jubilating right now singing for a lost son who has found his way back to the bosom of the Lord.

Controversial on-air-personality Freeze born Ifedayo Olarinde known for his polarizing views and opinions has seemingly changed his ways. Within the last one year Freeze has given knocks to people on Instagram, celebrities and ex-friends who he felt deserved his dose of barbs and shades. No one has been spared from his sarcasm and venom.

He quickly developed a reputation for himself as the big bad wolf on Instagram and with the creation of his own site Freeze was moulding himself into a notorious social commentator. Today, June 19, 2016, the OAP seemingly changed the narrative by apologizing on his Instagram page to the people he has offended.

Freeze apologized to Basketmouth who he had a nasty online fight with and others who he has hit hard with his opinions which include Mr. Festus Keyamo, Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, and TB Joshua. He also apologized to two ladies he insulted on Instagram.

Freeze has not revealed why he has had a change of heart. Pulse reached out to him but the Cool FM veteran had not responded at the time this piece was written.

It's kind of strange though seeing Freeze trying to make amends. He has played the role of the bad guy who does not really care about feelings or opinions. He revels in being the bad guy that people can point at. This move from him doesn't feel bad ass.

A few days before his apology spree Freeze did something out of character. He apologized to blogger and fashionista Noble Igwe for writing about his wife. He also went on to delete the post.

The cynic in me thinks that Freeze is playing at something here. Maybe he is changing strategy- cooling down the bad guy vibe and showing the world that he can get along with everybody. When things get boring and predictable again Freeze turns back into a wolf and fires shots from his keyboard.

Hey it's possible. He could be cunning like that, and it's not a bad trait to have. Whether you like him or not Freeze is one of the guys who adds spice on social media. You can call him a lot of bad things but you cannot accuse him of being boring- not at all.

So before we start thinking that Freeze has become born again and is about to soft-pedal we should chill a bit and see for how long the on-air-personality will be a nice guy.
