Instagram names its 10 most liked images of 2015

Kendall Jenner's picture of her lying on the ground with her hair shaped into several hearts has been named as the most like image on Instagram in 2015.

This picture posted by Kendall about a month ago is now the most liked picture on Instagram.

The 19-year-old model's iconic image garnered an impressive 3.2 million likes since it was posted in May this year.

However five of Taylor Swift's candid snaps came in second, third, sixth, eighth and ninth places on the '10 Most Liked Images of 2015 on Instagram'

Surprisingly, selfie queen Kim Kardashian couldn't make the top ten list despite being known for being the master of taking and posting selfies on the photo site. Meanwhile, the image of Kim and husband Kanye West, taken at their wedding, came second in a list of the app's most-liked photos ever earlier this year.

Other stars who made the list include Beyonce and daughter Blue Ivy as well as singer Selena Gomez.
