2face Idibia Has A Lot To Be Thankful For

Many will point to the overwhelming feeling of grief and loss that 2Face feels right now as a certain marker that should define his coming days, but 2Face Idibia has a lot to gives thanks for.

2 more years would have made 2face Idibia's father a septuagenarian, but prostate cancer disagreed. Pa Idibia passed away yesterday, August 23, 2014 in a hospital in Abuja after battling cancer for over a year. He was 68 years old.

Many will point to the overwhelming feeling of grief and loss that 2Face feels right now as a certain marker that should define his coming days, and they are entirely correct. 2Face Idibia will grieve with all his being, having loved his father generously. Also will this loss be deeper, because he grieves not alone, but with a large family to uphold while mourning.

Pa Idibia was a man of many people. He is survived by wife, Mrs. Rose Owoyi Idibia, children: Steven Idibia, Innocent '2face' Idibia, Hyacinth Idibia and Oche Idibia, grand-children, and siblings. Add that number up, and you might get more than a little hamlet, all of which will jointly mourn his sorrowful passing. At 68, life shouldn't be lost.

But within these lines of sadness and bitterness, all 2Face Idibia needs right now is to look deeper than the surface, and he'll realize that there is still a lot to be thankful for.

2Face Idibia has been a blessing to many a soul, and he'll always be a blessing. His works have enriched lives, enlivened the days of many, put countless smiles on people's faces, and given hope where there was none. He is a true model of success, an inspiration to the masses, and a true hero f Nigeria. He has to look on that and smile through his pain.

2Face Idibia still has love all around him. He is a man blessed with a large family, which includes his mother, Rose Idibia, his gorgeous wife, Annie Idibia, 5 lovely kids, 3 brothers, Steven, Hyacinth and Oche, and a lot more. Sure he has lost a source of inspiration and good counsel, with the death of his father, but the ones that are left behind need be his source of strength. He is swamped by true family, who will stand by his side, and uphold him, and he should be thankful for that.

2Face Idibia will be alright. A father's passing is a deep blow, but the grief can be made bearable with heart and reflection.

Then there's his family at Hypertek Records/960 Music Group. Dammy Krane, Rocksteady, Sir Victor Uwaifo, and others have his back. Having had a stellar music career, 2face invested in a legacy that includes his label signees. The good folks at 960 Music Group, Mark Redguard, and his manager, Efe Omoregbe, can all lean in heavily with love and support at a time when all looks bleak and without flavour.

The burial arrangement will be announced in the coming days, and as the painful reality hits home, 2Face Idibia will be fully invested in it, being the star of the family. But he needn't be alone. He has love all around him,
