Jamaican artist face heavy criticism for implanting horns on his head

The 29-year-old singer says he did not have the horns implanted on his own volition, noting that God instructed him to do so.

Heavy criticisms have trailed emerging Jamaican artist Furtyle Brain who had horns implanted on his head, with many referring to the move as ‘demonic.’

In the world of entertainment, where image and relevance is everything, entertainers are doing all that it takes to join the big league or get noticed  - from outlandish body arts which ranges from controversial tattoos, bleached skin, multiple facial piercings to nudity.

Brian, 29, seemingly took it to another level by implanting horns on his head, which is apparently getting him the attention he craves.

The singer, who reportedly had the implant done in Jamaica by a Canadian-based surgeon, said the move was a divine instruction from God.

"I do believe that I got some form of prophetic instruction by God. I didn't do this alone," he said.

However, many, on social media, have condemned his move, saying he's from the pit of hell, but none of that bothers Brain.

"There are some who think that I am demonic, but it doesn't bother me much as I am not the first artiste who is picked on. There are others who have done far less than I have done and have received a backlashing and bashing," he said in defence.

Born and raised in Montego Bay, the second largest city in Jamaica, Brain released his debut in 2010, Kickers overClarks, which was a counteraction to Vybz Kartel's hit single Clarks. Among his latest releases are Moneyology and Pocket Money.
