Actress conferred with Chieftancy title

At a ceremony held at the Nigerian Railway Corporation, Ebute-Metta, the actress was conferred with a chieftancy title adding another feather to her cap.
 
 

Popular Yoruba actress, Fathia Balogun yesterday, Sunday, June 26, 2016 was named the "AtesinSe Adinni".

Celebrities in attendance include, Sindodo Tayo, Kemi Afolabi, Mojisola Olaiya, Kehinde Rhoda Akinrinmade and others.

The title is said to be in connection with her giving Islam a good image in the industry.

The mum of two with Dayo Amusa recently went to Mecca, Saudi Arabia to observe the Muslim Hajj pilgrimage.

The two were photographed wearing white Hijabs as they enjoy coffee alongside Dayo Amusa’s mother.

Hajj, as prescribed by Allah (God) is one of the five pillars of Islam and Muslims are encouraged to make the journey at least once in a lifetime, provided they have the means.
