Dancehall act and Queen Ure battle over 'Popori'

Battle broke out between Queen Ure and Cynthia Morgan when Ure claimed the word 'popori' originated from her. Cynthia is however winning the battle, read all the tweets here.

Cynthia Morgan, fast rising Nigerian dancehall artiste and singer Queen Ure are currently battling over the word 'Popori'.

'Popori' is the title of Cynthia Morgan's latest single. Coincidentally it also happens to be the title of Queen Ure's 2012 debut album, the only being a slight difference in spelling. Queen Ure's debut album is spelled 'Porpori'.

Queen Ure who is the ex-wife  of Prophet Soul E say Cynthia Morgan's single is copyright infringement. Queen Ure claims she owns the copyright to the word since she created the slang.

To that effect, a Federal Hight Court in Lagos gave an injunction restraining Cynthia Morgan, as well as radio DJs, and TV Stations from playing the song.

In response to the injunction, the Northside Entertainment act lashed out at Queen Ure. Cynthia Morgan took to her Instagram and Twitter account to air her thoughts on the saga.

The dancehall act made such statements such as "I'll go crazy on your old kuku ass...Stay outta my lane or I will fucking punch you with a fist full of rings...". She also said ""You want attention...get your nudes out like you always send to young boys"Read the full tweets here:

Apart from releasing an album called 'Porpori, Queen Ure also released a track of the same name.
