An eight day Fidau prayer in honour of late veteran Nollywood actress, Zainab Bukky Ajayi held today, July 13, 2016.

The actress who passed away at the age of 82 in her Surulere residence on July 6, 2016 was buried according to Muslim rites by 4pm on Wednesday, July 6, 2016

The Fidau prayers which held at a Mosque in Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja was organised by the NASFAT Muslim society.

Celebrities in attendance includes: Hon Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, Sola Sobowale, Dele Odule, Jide Kosoko, Jimoh Aliu, Tade Ogidan, Sola Kosoko, Keji Yusuf, Ngozi Nwosu, Bobo B, Kola Olaiya and others.

Bukky Ajayi was a widely respected actress in Nollywood. On June 15, 2016, a group of Nollywood actors paid a visit to the veteran actress at her home.

The actors were Joke Silva, Uzor Osimkpa, Chika Chukwu, Rita Dominic, Kate Henshaw, Nichole Banna, Seun Ajayi and Zara Udofia Ejoh.
